What’s involved in a Biological New patient dental appointment

1 Hour

This consultation will screen for leaky gums, sleep-disordered breathing and upper-airway resistance of which includes anterior and posterior tongue tie, tooth by tooth breakdown of the restoration material and its integrity both clinically and radiographically. We screen for jaw bone focal infections around non-vital teeth and root canals as well as look for signs of potential FDOJ & NICO’s from unknown hidden sources from previous extractions or undifferentiated cells where wisdom teeth haven’t formed. We finish the consultation by taking an overview OPG x-ray to discuss and plan your gold standard approach for the removal of any interferences to wellbeing by bringing back oral balance.

What’s involved in a Holistic New patient Hygiene appointment

Your holistic hygiene appointment aims to optimise your oral health by providing you with a tailored oral health routine, specific to your dental needs. We take into account both local and systemic risk factors, and treat causes, not just effects. The goal of this appointment is to help you achieve optimal long-term gum health and maximise your resistance to gum inflammation and infection. You will also experience a holistic tooth cleaning, using Guided Biofilm Therapy, a treatment protocol devised and used by leading gum specialists throughout the world. We use a natural dye to identify any areas where you may be missing, then a warm water flushing system called ‘Airflow’ with a gentle bactericidal powder will disrupt and remove the plaque biofilm and any surface stains in your mouth. The airflow system leaves your teeth looking whiter, feeling polished and feeling super smooth. You’ll find it comfortable and efficient and will see the results for yourself!

  • Unfortunately there is only a handful of Biological Dentists in the UK. We are unique in the broad range of pillars of biological dentistry that we offer. Many of our patients even fly in to see us!

    We understand this may be frustrating but our feedback from every patient is that it was more than worth the journey. We hope we can provide this for you too.

  • Huddersfield train station is around a 5-10 minute drive. There is a Taxi rank outside.

  • There are a few local hotels at different budgets, and you are, of course, free to search yourself.
